Ability to select language within the app regardless of device language

Currently language of the app is defined by the phone system language on Android devices. Which is a problem because the user cannot access localized content without modifying system language.

It must be very easy for you to do this because different languages are already in the app if we change system language. So you just have to add manually an option for this. I'm not a developer but I think this is very easy for developers.

It's so frustrating that we're not able to change language. For us bilingual/multilingual folks is a must, my PT and nutritionist do not speak my main language and I have to constantly verbally translate to them instead of just being able to send screenshots. You can't possibly ask us to change our whole phone language just for one app!

So, I just found out about this. It's quite a shame, I've been using Yazio for almost a year and changed it into PRO just recently. Now I read that iOS can change it language but Android cannot.
It would be awesome to implement this. If it's too difficult, maybe use the Per-app language preferences from Android 13?

Hello, my friend dunno English very well, but she wants to use your app. She using Ukrainian language at her phone. It will be super cool if you will add the language button in your app somewhere in the settings. So she can choose ru language for example, but not change the language for her whole phone. Thanks

This is actually a non-issue on iOS (16.6). You can change the Preferred language in the preferences:
Home Screen -> Settings -> (scroll down) Yazio -> Preferred Language -> <your language>
