Manual start/stop fasting tracker
I would like to be able to manually start and stop my fasts. I would like to have the ability to select start fast when I’m done eating and hit end fast when I’m eat. Most other trackers have this ability and will show the difference as lapsed time.

Irina MergedI'd like to have an opportunity to set special days for my intermittent fasting because I use this system just at the end of every week and sometimes during public holidays. Unfortunately, now l can alter just the time. But I'd like to turn If off on some weekdays. Thanks.

KateAgree! I would love to have this option as well. Even if my fasting goal is supposed to stop at noon, if it takes me longer to make food, or if I can't get away from work, I'd rather only hit the button once to say "start eating". Most days I have to update my "end fast time" multiple times since I have to keep pushing it out and then eventually correct it to the actual stop time. If the "automatic" option works for some people, maybe make it a settings option to switch to manual, vice versa?

GaryYes totally agree. I can only think the developers have never done intermittant fasting otherwise they would understand that life doesn't operate every day to a plan. Some days you can fast longer (or shorter than others). The total inflexibility to manual control AND Edit history of fasting shows a complete lack of understanding. Anyway. I vote for a fix :) (PS. I like many of the other features of the app and the fact that it seems to be the most comprehensive app to combine Calorie counting, meals/ingredient suggestions and fasting in one app (at a reasonable and fair price) is why I'm hoping they can iron out a few of these bugs to truly have the best app out there for this category.

Tim A MergedI have been intermittent fasting for a while now and the app has me doing a 16/8 fast. I usually do not start eating on my specific window time. I would like to be reminded that I can eat but not have the time or start my eating window until I manually start my time or at least allow a setting for that. Right now I have literally fasted for 20 hours But the only option that I have is to start fasting again even though I haven’t been feasting. I want the ability to extend my fast if I want but be reminded when I can and cannot eat

SumyraTotally agree. I currently have to use Fasting Tracker seperately (as the IF element on this app is no use to me) but would prefer a food tracking app that also allows full control of fasting times. I would actually prefer it if the app allowed me to input when I start eating a meal (and what foods obviously) and then click when I have stopped eating which then initiates a fasting. Technically all non-eating periods would be tracked as fasting even though they aren't all real fasts. I am not interested in cumulative fasting totals as they don't mean anything but, if the app gets me used to clicking when I stop eating I will be less likely to forget to initiate a fasting period and more likely maintain fasts for the lengths that I would like to.

Skrik MergedAs far as I know, it is currently impossible to plan the end of your fast outside a 3 day window from the day you started it ( if you started fasting 21.55 on day 1, the maximum length of fast would, as far as I know, 2 days. The only way to reach 3 days is by starting 00.00 day 1 and finishing 23.59 day 3, which is not realistic.
Some of us like to do longer fasts than that from time to time :) -

SergioI’m curious why this is not a thing. If inam supposed to skip, say, dinner, and I enter something, my fasting streak still looks going. So i simply started to ignore the fasting notifications which beats the whole purpose of the function.
So in summary, yes! Manually editing fasting periods would be great! -

Mauri MergedHi, it would be really nice and good to have the possibility to pause/stop the fasting tracker during weekends and reactivate it later without losing my stats.
Having to modify the range of time manually every time is not convenient or precise as you may know.

Peter MergedI can't use yazio fasting because at the end of fasting it automatically starts eating period. I'm not a robot, I don't start eating immediately or maybe I want to fast a little bit more and to log it.
Sometimes, I forget to start fasting immediately on app and when I try to change the time it only allows 2-3 hour before not 24 hourse. -

Marcin MergedI’m finding that due to the timer starting and stopping automatically I’m unable to accurately track my fasting. Sometimes I’ll fast for longer but the timer stops early or sometimes I’ll end up not sticking to the fast at all but the timer still assumes I’ve stuck to the time meaning there’s no penalty and the streak still continues. Letting us start and stop the timer according to our actual behaviour will keep people accountable and accurately track the length of time fasted.

nessipCan You please make free of schedule fasting option. For example if I have 16/8 and I would like to go for 18h today what will I find in the app? That I started eating 2hrs ago. Of course I can modify fast break or start time currently but app shouldn't break fast itself or there should be option to select fasting without schedule allowing to fast as long as I aim. SavannahThe automation makes it so that even if I’m not using the app, it still keeps me on a streak, which deincentivizes using it as it gives a false success rate regardless. It is also more work to remember exact times and adjust than just a start/stop button like every other fasting tracker I’ve ever used.
