Add item by energy/calories.

Why not incorporate a function where we're able to add ingredient/meal/recipe by energy amount and have the app tell you how many grams you need to add on your plate?

Sometimes, if I know what amount of calories I need for dinner, I feel kind of stupid for standing there and guessing many times the weight that's going to be the closest to the amount of calories I desire. If we could also choose to add by calories when that's appropriate, then we'd know exactly how much to add!

The nutrition info and calculator is already there, it's just about switching the formula around and it would make things so much easier. Please make this happen!
