Edit fasting history
Fasting does not operate to the minutes of a clock and a plan. It occurs according to the flow of life.
So the fasting "intention" according to the fasting plan will come and go and I'm still fasting. OR I may end my fast earlier. I need much easier access and control over the fasting times. Easy ability to one click to open the edit page to edit the start and end times of a fast.
I am happy to go with the automatic start and end times of a fast as programmed in your app but only if it allows for it to be edited "for the real world". Other apps go with a manual start and end for the fast along with the ability to edit later also. This control is necessary and I see another suggestion already exists for the manual start /finish - but no suggestion for editing history. Hence this suggestion. Hope you can fix things so I can use this app for everything.
Thanks

Nola MergedAt first, I'm sorry if this topic is posted by anyone else. I want to suggest that this app could insert the past fasting that I had done before.
2
Because before I come to use your application, I have done fasting by recording in another app. So when I change the app, I didn't want to start day one again on my record. Please let me insert my past fasting on your app.
Thanks for wasting your time reading my opinion and please let me know if I was wrong. -

Francesca Carey MergedOn the weekends I tend to fast for 24, 36 or 48 hours and I’d like the ability to edit the fasting hours. Right now I cannot backtrack to an earlier day to start my fast. Can this be fixed?

Dinara MergedIt would be perfect to add time of meal and intermittent time back to date to keep tracker and analysis.

Sometimes it is not able to track due minute, but i remember the time and would like to make it back to date. -

András Tamási MergedI'm not able to adjust my ongoing fasting's date backward and the minutes can't be earlier then the current minute when I try to adjust. For example I'm fasting I started my fast but forgot to start the timer or put in the time incorrectly. The timer says that I started on Aug. 3. 12:48 (this is when i realized i missed it and tried to correct.) If I want to adjust that I started it at Aug 2 23:59 the first Problem that I can't choose any day before today on the calender. If I try to set Aug. 3. 0:00 the second problem that even if I could choose other (earlier than current) hours, if I chose 0-on the hours the Minutes can't be changed earlier than current time (but strangely i can choose any minutes if i choose any other hour except 0). So I'd like to have the option to change any date and time I'd like to set for the start of my fasting period.

TeriI sometimes get busy with life and don't check the app for a day or two and don't fast as long as I planned, but it logs my intended fast as completed even though I didn't do it. There's no way to go back and fix it after the fact, so now my stats are completely off, and when I wonder why I'm not seeing results when it says I fasted 20:4 for 10 days straight... well, because I didn't, the app just says I did. This makes it useless as a fasting tracker, so I have to use another app. Please add a simple log of previous fasts that can be edited to reflect actual hours fasted. This one feature will make my Pro subscription worth continuing.

Todor Kanev MergedI’m currently doing a 5 day fast. Because I don’t eat nothing I haven’t used the app, but on the day I started the fast I forgot to start it in the app. Now I can’t put a start date before today. I think this is something that can easily be updated and made possible.

RagnheidurGreat app.
I will become a PRO as soon as you can edit starting time easily.
In the other fasting app I use I enter the day after when I started fasting the night before. For me it is a must to be able to edit easily. Thanks in advance. -

KyleThis really needs to be updated. I was really motivated and excited to use this app but the fast tracking issues are already making me regret downloading it in the first place. Was really hoping for a good app to track fasting and calories and find recipes in one place but the fast tracking is really disappointing. As others have said, being able to manually adjust your start and end times is a must for those days when things don’t go as planned or you feel motivated to fast longer. Also, progressing from one fasting schedule to another or using multiple fasting schedules throughout the week are very common practices and you should be able to see all of that history in the app and be able to edit if needed.

I need to add my own history to fasting.
I need a good overview about my fasting.
I need to be able to change any data in the history of fasting.
I need to be able to change fasting times even for 36 or more hours.
If I change my fasting plan, I need to be able to still have and see and correct history of fasting.
Thank you! -

CarlosI agree. Sometimes life does not allow us to commit to our fasting (e.g. brunch meeting at work) and we do not always are able to edit it AT THE VERY MOMENT I'm breaking my fasting, but some hours later but.... oh, no, the app does not allow us to do so. Can you please allow at least pro users to edit present and past fasting periods? Thanks

MaryI want to edit yesterday’s fast. I had to break it, so I no longer have a streak, but it says that I do. If I break fast I want to be able to document it. Just as if I were to pre-log a food and then not eat it, I’m able to edit that. This helps me look at my progress, trends, and see how realistic and effective it is for me to do intermittent fasting. I don’t understand why this isn’t an option

VeronicaMy issue started when I edited the time for my fasting. Would be fantastic if we can start the 24 hrs. fasting in another time instead of 12 am to 12 am, it’s better to have the choice of other hours and keep the record in our calendar. Because after changing the time the fasting records disappear.

What is the eta on incorporating the ability to edit fasting history? -
24 Jan, '24
MichaelI'm very surprised (shocked) this update hasn't occurred by now. First time it was suggest is in 2021. It's a basic functionality a fasting app should have. I'll be looking to use something else until I hear this has been added.

MDI am able to tap into a screen where I, presumably, can edit the start and end times of yesterday's fast. But the clock keeps snapping back to the original time assigned to me. It took me so long to figure out this feature just wasn't available, because the functionality seems to be there, it just doesn't work.

Michel-MartinHello, same problem on Android app - need to be able to edit Fasting logs! I frequently start fasting earlier and end later than the standard plan from your program - I think it would be mandatory to allow specific days/entries modifications. I am gradually starting a fasting plan so I'm starting with 12/13 working it up towards 16/8 so being able to increase fasting times in a log would allow me to see my progression until I am comfortable to switch. Please include functionality shortly. I paid for a yearly plan, so far not having this specific functionnality is making me consider resigning this membership.

Gokhan GENCGreetings to all. I have been using Life Fasting tracker for more than 2 years. It was just a chronometer style fasting tracker with additional visual info about current body state. You can adjust your fasting duration freely, you can start the timer, stop it, edit it. You can edit your fasting history as well. If you forget to track next day you enter your fasting period for yesterday. You can see your all year long progress, monthly progress.

YAZIO is combination of many apps like fasting tracker, activity tracker, nutrition tracker for weight watchers etc. It’s good have all in one place.
However for fasting we need more focus. Personal recods should be available to export as excel or other formats. Completely free style, open duration fasting should be available. Life doesn’t have fix schedule for everybody. Shift workers need more flexibility. I can start a fast, and see where it goes, 24, 36, or 72 hours. Please put completely free style fasting tracker. Thank you. -

HTuppenYes, I messed up the recording of a prior fast and ended up with 64 hours. It's demotivating that I can't change this as I can't work to beat my longest fast. Please update!

KellyI’m new to YAZIO and I’ve been loving the app and getting to know how all the features work. However, the biggest let down with the app is the fasting tab and its restrictions. I’ve used fasting apps before and I need to be able to control the fasting times if I want to accurately extend my fast it end it early. I also need to be able to edit fasting history if I’ve entered something incorrectly. The fasting functionality is extremely important to me, and it will be the only reason why I choose to leave YAZIO until this update comes into effect.
