Add a DASH plan to the coach plans
The DASH diet has been shown to be associated with reduced risk of depression, in addition to lowering blood pressure.
Researchers from Wake Forest School of Medicine have reported that the DASH diet reduces risk of heart failure by approximately 50%. Heart failure can lead to frequent hospitalizations and higher mortality rates. About 50% of people who develop heart failure will not survive longer than 5 years, with the risk being higher for men.
