Select more than one food database
Possibility to select 2 (ore more) food databases at the same time, for example Germany & France. For some people the nearest supermarket is just across the border :)
This would avoid having to switch databases to find the right thing.

It’s discrimination. I am mixed nationality, all my parents and grand parents are different nationality, and I am coocking and eating different food, why you separate the food base, it’s not nesesary?

LehelAs a non native speaker living in Finland, it would be great to add multiple databases... Actually I've just realized recently that there is an option to switch between and I was mildly irritated why some ready made food weren't in the database... And I've added some Finnish product to the English database. But I am sure I am not the only one! This is a must-have feature, at least for me.

Tommaso De Benetti+1 for this. Italian living in Finland and I constantly need to switch databases. Almost a dealbreaker for me

RichardI'd love to be able to choose an "all databases" ability.
I know there will be duplication of barcodes / foods but I think we would all be able to understand that. -

Michael Alley+1 For this.
n my Home we eat often both from the danish and the Chinese kitchen. It would be great to be able to activate more than 1 database at a time for food searches.
This is a feature I was very happy with in the MADLOG app which I used previously. -

Riccardo+1 for this from another Italian in Finland.
It would be even handier if there would be the switch/select option close to the search box in the diary...so no need to go every time in the settings.
Cheers! -

Koray MergedThis is needed especially for expats. I live in another country, so cook foods from my origin country, but also buys stuff from supermarkets where I live in. I'd like to access multiple country food databases at the same time. Currently, I can choose only one. Switching between the databases is not handy.

Ross8My first language is Italian but I live in Portugal. I saw that I can use the database only for one language at a time. Would it be possible for you to offer a multilanguage support? Italian+portuguese at the same time? Now I have to switch between libraries every time I have a food name which is not present in the Italian database and Vice versa.
Would love to have -

Irax XuanYuan MergedAs a foreigner, including immigrants, exchange students, et cetera, it is common to consume both culture-related food and local food. For my example, I live in United States while often consume stir-fried food because I'm in a family of immigrant descent, and I know how to use the language of my culture. Can we have a multiple choice of food databases so I do not need to switch to other language for a record than switch back for other dishes?

Edoardo MergedIs it possible to have the food database in different languages at the same time? I'm seeing we can only have it one at time (fonr instance if i load Italian, I cannot put food in Spanish or French at the same time). That would be very useful during trips abroad and for local food for instance. Thanks!

Marcin LisIt's a great idea - as a person from Poland who lives in the UK and travels a lot (because of work and personally) I see this as a great feature.
Now I have to switch a few times per day between the Polish and English databases (as I'm buying some stuff in a Polish shop), which is really frustrating. -

Anja Wagner MergedI am German, living in Norway, I would like to use both tatabases at the same time, but I am only able to choose on at a time. It should be possible to choose 2 ore 3 databases to use at the same time. It is time eating and difficult to switch all the time.

MarcosDear Yazo customer service,
I`m a happy user of your app since quite long time, but, if is possible, i would like to give you some suggestion about the database functions and utility.
I`m italian and i`m living in holland so, frequently, i have to change from dutch database to italian because, of course, i use food product from both country in my diet, that swich takes sometimes to much time during the day and is a little bit annoying`.
Why is not possible to set a multi database choice? Could be very useful.
Furthermore i noticed that the self-made recipes are almost never findable by the searching function.
Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
Your faithfully -

MickaëlI wish I could select 5 databases at the same time.
I'm french, living in Germany, and I shop sometimes in polish stores and worldwide candy stores too (mostly the USA and Japan stuff).
I know we can switch from database to database, but when you're trying to enter one product for lunch and it's not in the german database because it comes from Poland, you have to go all the way out of the journal to switch it. and switch back because the rest of your lunch is french >.<
I really wish to be able to select the most commonly used at the same time, even if the search in the database should be a little bit slower.
Thanks for the suggestion -

tm0wSame for people like me. Currently, the Database Country is set to Switzerland, most of the food in the DB are written in German a language that I DON'T speak, and searching for English equivalent doesn't produce results. It's quite frustrating :-(
Selecting more than a DB would be pretty good! -

KurozukinMy example is very common - I come from Poland, but I live in Great Britain. I’m buying food products both in local stores and in Polish stores. As a result, I have to manually switch the product base every now and then.
This feature should be available long time ago. -

EricI'm from Canada and as peoples are English or French, some people write items in database with English description even if I'm using French language on the apps. The major problem with this is, with time, my favorite foods wil be indexed incorrectly. I'll will have some items in P "Pain tranché" and others in S "Slice bread" even if it's the same product with some difference (white or brown bread as an exemple). Even for the description, will it be indexed with B "Bread", P "Pain", T "Tranche", S "Sliced" etc... So it'll be really useful to be able to modify the description name of the product only, for our favorites to make them easier to find in our list. Thanks
