Offline Support/Mode
I work in a place with spotty cell service. It’d be nice to offer the option to have data saved locally if I’m logging things I’ve frequently or recently eaten (i.e., this food's nutritional info is cached), and upload the info to the server when I have better reception. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when I have to wait 3 minutes for the app to connect just to add the same lunch I ate yesterday.

MarkoI’m traveling a lot and naturally eating in an airplane, many time during the long distance flights. Would be good to have offline option available, at least to keep the records.

Alex+1. I have to use MyFitnessPal because it has this feature. If you add it and multiple meals, I’d gladly switch to YazioPro. Waiting! Please add at least caching of earlier eaten food, if it’s impossible to download all the database

SabiOr just cache only the favorite foods / meals / recipes.

I agree the app should be able to start without internet connectivity.
Perhaps add items as temporary, make a mark (dashed red font or a symbol next to these) and snyc them later by editing them. -

AthensI have yazio pro, I am fully satisfied, but If I knew it didn't work offline , I would not even download the free version.I am diabetic type 1 and I cannot even figure out what insulin dose should I do for every meal. It is a pity. You are unprofessional. You have to fix this immediately. At least with the favorites or the foods saved.

VinitaIt would be good if one could add foods that were eaten without adding calories and so on. So one could at least keep track of what one ate during the time. Then once the mobile device was hooked up to wifi it could automatically update the information. Water consumption and tracking activities could also easily be off-line.
I look forward to seeing the update! -

marat MergedWe are talking about statistics on the clock. When working offline, the app does not work and does not record statistics. If you disable WIFI and your phone, the app is useless. I think it is worth implementing the offline statistics recording function. That is, statistics will be collected in hours and then transferred to the phone in the app when you connect to the phone.
At least do it for the water statistics ...
thank you for your attention... -

IAN MergedPlease add the ability to use the application offline. So that in offline mode it was possible to enter the application, add food to the list of "favorites", add the calories eaten. Thank you.

LouMy thoughts exactly! Why can't we have access to the already planned menus if there's no cell coverage? It's annoying. And not all of us have WiFi 24/7, you know.

JordyIf I knew this app required cloud connection in order to work I would have NEVER gotten premium, imagine if all apps did this… I will definitely not renew if this major design flaw is not fixed

LukeFirst of all, I really like the YAZIO App, used MyFitnessPal before. Would not want to go back especially since they don’t offer a lifetime subscribtion.
But you really have to fix this. You have to be able to open the App, see your calories and macros and add more. Please don’t let us down on this! -

OleksandrI have reached the Yazio Support already, but believe my comment would be usefull here as well.

I'm living in Ukraine and due to the war here we have daily power outages for 5-20 hours as well as internet shutdown.
I find it's a nice idea to be able to use an offline database for food so even in such a tough time users could stay on track and maintain heathy habits.
It's okay if the offline mode would be included in the premium subscription.
Thank you. -

ZekiI travel regularly and sometimes there are areas with no coverage. Having lunch in a village and not being able to add your meals is frustrating. You can't even add food you create yourself. This is a big drawback for me, and I'll probably end up using another app that has an offline mode.

ZekiI also paid for the PRO version but it doesn't have offline mode. I can't understand how they add the 'Daily Streaks' option and a pet, which is totally unnecessary, but they don't add something as simple and necessary as an offline mode.
