Extention for pregnancy and Breastfeeding in Profile
Womans in preganacy and breast feeding have a higher energy intake and also they have to pay attention to an adequate Vitamin D intake, Iodin, Calcium, folic acid and Omega 3 etc. Many women want to get rid of the excess weight in short time even when they are nursing there babys without thinking that nursing costs even a lot of energy. Furthermore In the Proversion you could give advice how to change the babys diet from maternal milk to common food.

AmyYes please! I’m a breastfeeding mum and keen to start using YAZIO but it’s a bit annoying that I just have to think hmmm I can probably eat 200-300 calories more but then the app thinks I’m going off plan! Please add a setting for breastfeeding!

David SpencerI started Yazio and it looks great! I sold the idea to my wife, but she needs something for breastfeeding mothers; where is the extension please?! Thanks

Stephanie MergedI think it would be interesting to add pregnancy and breastfeeding to your profile for a good calorie counter. While pregnant you can eat a little extra in the last 3 months and while breastfeeding it would be great to get suggestions based on that.

Elodiein fact, many mothers want to monitor their diet more closely. either while pregnant or postpartum. In the second choice, there are mothers who breastfeed and others who do not. When breastfeeding, the calories are not at all the same.

OzlemThere should be an option in the settings that you can turn on if you are pregnant and then it can ask which trimester you are in, so that the app can automatically arrange its calorie suggestion based on that as well as advising/informing about foods with important nutrients for pregnancy. Also, same thing can be done for breastfeeding mothers. I believe it is a very important feature that is missing from calorie tracking apps, considering how many women would like to monitor their calorie intake during such long periods.

JulianaYes, when we get pregnant, we're left out. It would be great to have support at this time too. It would make all the difference.

AuroreI shared a similar issue in some feedback a couple of days ago!
I am not breastfeeding yet, but I am pregnant. I know I can edit my calories goal in my settings, but most of the time, we pregnant women don't know how much we should aim for, and doing the math everyday or switching every trimester can be a bit like working in the dark. Adding a little new goal to your list of goals (like "loose weight", "gain weight", "manage pregnancy") and including the calculation to your app could be very useful for users like me. Thanks!
