Support external keyboards
Can you please add the option to use a third party keyboard in YAZIO like Swype or Swiftkey? It is very annoying to type when you are used to swiping 🙃
I just became a pro member so I dare to ask. That would give a 5 star review!!

MaxThe importance of having the ability to use third party keyboards is so underrated. This deserves way more upvotes.

IvankoI live in Russia and use a Gboard keyboard. Because of this, I can't search for the name of food in Russian.
For this reason, I have to look for another application for calorie counting. -

sunny.kI think it's a really important function.
Other applications often have this function as a must.
I am an iPhone 13 mini user
If you don't use a custom keyboard, the keyboard is too small to use.
I really hope the patch will be fixed. -

pepaI only seen them disabled in banking apps which need higher security, until apple fixes bugs, but that's not our case.
My main issue is that apple keyboard doesn't support swiping for Czech.
Your competition, Kalorické tabulky, has same features and does support all keyboards. I'm still choosing which app to pay for and this is really my only issue with yazio, which is nicer overall. -

Pavel ZagorodnikhCmon — this can be achieved pretty easily.
What's stopping you?
I use google maps as a default on my Iphone and inability to use it in the app feels intrusive. Like I can't use what I want to use in my phone. -

TomasVThe built-in iOS keyboard doesn't support swipe typing in my native language, so I use SwiftKey. Actually all my installed apps support third-party keyboards, just Yazio supports only built-in.

Кероль5.02.25 there is still no support for third-party keyboards. I don't see any point in renewing my pro subscription. The developers have not added my basic desire, which should work in all programs. Ios18.3 current version of yazio

AdamPro user here. This is SUPER frustrating for me to search between meals and recipes by taping each key on keyboard instead of swiping. Due to that this application feels almost useless for me because 90% of the time I have to search and record a meal I'm instantly losing a motivation to do so, especially if I know I have to do exactly the same unpleasant job every couple of times per day. I know it's Apple's "fault" in the first place, therefore I'm forced to use 3rd party keyboard to be able to swipe my native language (Slovak) words but many other apps does support SwiftKey except Yazio. Please think about us - foreign swifting users.

Alexanderhow is this still an open issue after 6 years!? they literally had to actively block external keyboards, meaning somebody in the dev team had to put in extra code. ergo it should be much easier to simply disable what's already there than having to write new code. it's the simplest fix.
