Diabetes key feature missing
In YAZIO, the carb values of non-starchy vegetables are always counted. For people with diabetes, this is misleading, because in medical nutrition practice these carbs are not included. This creates two serious problems: 1) the daily carb goal looks exceeded even if the diet is correct, which causes frustration and mistrust of the app, and 2) meal planning can go wrong, because users may try to cut or replace healthy vegetables with less suitable carb sources just to stay “within limits.” Both cases reduce the usefulness of the app for diabetic users. The solution would be to add a “Diabetes mode” where non-starchy vegetables are excluded from carb counting. This would give a realistic picture of intake and help people plan meals correctly. It would also make YAZIO much more reliable and valuable for those with diabetes.
