Show History of Scanned Items not as Digits but as Products Name

If you scan your item with the scanner, the history of your searched or scanned Items will appear if you click on the search-bar. Then there appears a String of Digits of which I don't know which Item it is. I have to klick each through so I don't need to scan the milk I bought yesterday every time.
It would be great, if instead of the Digits there would appear the Name from the Database which also appears if you did scan an item. It would give the users a greater overview of their own scan oder search history in the search-bar.
