Option to delete/edit foods and meals already added to the database with wrong macronutrients or serving size.

Nic DaniauThe edited version of the Food entry should preferably only apply when they will be added from this point. It shouldn't be retroactive to recompute cal count in the past. This feature would be very handy (and would encourage me to make my Food entries public), but I'd hate to see my past records subjected to changes as people amend Food entries I used in the past.

Fabiana MergedThe food we create and make available for other members to see (and I’m quite aware not to choose this option anymore) stay in the same list as food we choose as favorites and that’s a hassle cause sometimes we calculate just to use them once and don’t want them anymore and it makes our favorite list confusing. So obviously my suggestion is 1) Let us erase it if we want and 2) Put it in a separate list.

StefanoIt needs a “meal tag” moderator. Everyone can do wrong things. Meal saw by moderator get the “star". It means “verified” and cannot be modified.

AgneseIt is absolutely necessary, please do that as soon as possible. This concerns also the possibility to change the unit of quantity when a food is created.

DanielleI agree as I have created some wrong and now its junk in your database. I would like to go back and fix it.
I just created one, thought I filled in the form correctly, but when it added to the diary it was wrong. I wish I could edit this food as it is shared with the database. -

Ikara IklikiI just added a food and set it to public but made a mistake with the kilocalories, I entered the kilojoules and did not convert, now I cannot correct this, the food is not editable nor can I delete it. Also this food already exists with completely the wrong kilocalories so I added my own but also made a mistake now there are 2 of the same both wrong.

Eliza MergedI would like to add something to an aliment. For exemple i search Vitalis mix chocolate, there is no bare code, if i have that bar code i would like to add to the existing aliment, i don t want to add a new aliment for that, just change it. Or add new portions..

Eda N.Totally agree with with everyone. I can’t edit neither delete any of my entries when I want to correct some information. Only way to correct it is creating a new entry for the same food and its just exhausting and also makes the things confusing while choosing from your own entries, its hard to know which was the right one. Its urgent, please please please solve this ASAP.

Koray MergedIt is not possible to edit portions of a food that we added right now. The only way is reporting it. It'd be good to allow editing them for the ones we added ourselves.

When you "create a food" for the public and by mistake you write some data wrong, then you cannot delete it and the food is there created with errors that you can correct! It would be great to be able to access all the foods, recipes and meals that you create yourself, and have the option to "Edit" and "Delete". -

SarahI think it would be very useful because often when I add aliments through barcode I found differents aliments with wrong nutritional values. It would be nice to have the "delete" option for the ones wrong

JohnHow hasn't this been implemented yet? I just created a new food and I realized an error I made immediately after creating it. I made it visible to all the users. So now I know there's a wrong food there in the database. Why can't we see the foods we've created and be given a 10-30 minute time slot to edit it or something? I've got to create it all over again now and I can only use it once (it doesn't appear in the database immediately so I can't search it up)
Incredibly annoying and a very important feature to have. Should have been implemented from the very beginning........ -

Eleonora MergedWhen creating a meal there is the possibility of making mistakes but there is no possibility to modify it. If it could be done there could be fewer meals to choose from because the wrong ones would be modified or eliminated by those who notice the mistake. We are a community and we should be able to help each other not only by adding but also by modifying and eliminating the wrong meals, both ours and those we encounter on our journey during the search.

Alessandro TesiThis is a must. Because sometimes you make mistakes and you can't correct them. While other times food that you normally buy changes its name and the barcode remains the same, again not being able to correct it always gives the wrong name when you read the barcode.

MichaelaIt would be really necessary to make your own food entries editable and deletable. Additionally, it might be a good idea to add fields for country and year, as the ingredients might be slightly different in different countries, or the producers changed their recipe. I found several entries that were pretty close to the food I had just bought, but still off by some macros and calories. One more thing in that regard, if you find a food like that, which might be from the US, and I would like to add my version, it would be nice to just be able to copy it and change the values for what I have at hand, thus not interfering with someone elses entry, that might be perfectly valid for where they are.
