AI model to calculate calories from camera
I just thought about the possibility to train an AI model, that can estimate calories based on an image of the plate I have in front of me. Or maybe some steps in that direction, like suggesting dishes/ingredients from camera/photo and possibly estimate their weight. That would be a game changer in usability, if we would not need to search/scan each individual ingredient anymore.

Katharinawann ist geplant, dass ihr das Kalorien tracking per Kamera released? Bei anderen Apps kann ich schon jetzt mein Essen Fotografieren und fertig.

MichaelYes - there are several feature request to enable AI based food tracking
It will be expensive on your end, I know - but there is no way around to implement that feature.
As it was mentioned - easyness of food tracking is the whole point.

MirkoCompetitor ( like fastic ) have yet this feature , think that YAZIO have to update soon this otherwise more user will change

Andrey Wendel FernandesUnfortunately, I think this is the future. If Yazio doesn't add this feature, they will probably lose a lot of users to apps that have this feature (I believe it's already happening) and I wouldn't want to be one of those people ):

I love love love YAZIO for its clean UI/IX. Very simple to use. And the widget—so helpful to keep me on track. But without scanning through AI feature, I feel it was behind. I didn’t renew my subscription.
