DIAAS

The DIAAS score (Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score) measures the quality of protein based on how well the body digests and absorbs essential amino acids from that protein. It’s important because it helps determine how much of the protein consumed is actually useful to the body; for example, milk protein with a high DIAAS score might have 90-100% of its amino acids absorbed, whereas wheat protein with a lower score might only provide 50-60% absorption. This means that even if you consume the same amount of each protein, your body will benefit more from the one with the higher DIAAS score.

Without the DIAAS score, it is impossible to know exactly the quantity of proteins absorbed.
