Replace Red/Green Checks with Calorie Goal Gradient
Right now, the monthly overview shows a green check if you stay under your calorie goal and a red cross if you go over. But this feels too black and white. For example, you could eat way too little (which isn’t healthy) and still get a green check, or go just 10 kcal over and get a red cross—even though that’s not a big deal. I think it would be more helpful to use a color gradient instead. The closer you are to your goal, the greener the day could be. The further you are—whether you ate way too little or way too much—the redder it gets. So if your goal is 1500 kcal, being around that would show green, and being at 0 or 3000 would show red. This would give a more balanced view and help people aim for healthy eating, not just “under the limit”.

DianaI strongly agree with this suggestion.
Even very small differences (for example +20–30 kcal) currently trigger a red indicator, which can feel disproportionate and demotivating.
A more gradual feedback system (for example including a yellow zone or color gradient) would better reflect realistic eating behavior and support long-term adherence rather than perfection.
