Flexible Calorie Target Ranges: Adjust Green/Red Marking Based on Custom or Auto Calculations

5 votes

Currently, the app marks any calorie surplus as red – even if it’s exactly within the target range for muscle building. At the same time, a large deficit is always green, even though it’s often not optimal. This can be demotivating, even when you’re doing things correctly. It would be much more helpful if users could set their own calorie target ranges – for example, 2600–2800 kcal = green, anything above or below = red. Alternatively, YAZIO could automatically calculate the ideal target range based on the user’s goal (muscle gain, maintenance, or fat loss). This way, the color-coding would be more useful, goal-oriented, and motivating. I believe long-term users would greatly benefit from this. Thanks for considering!
