  Even simpler, add caffeine as a micronutrient. Then when adding coffee, it can add the caffeine amount and sync into Apple Health.

  Please add caffeine and water amount when adding things to meals and when making a new add-on to the food record. And I also use the iPhones health app to see all my stats like water amount, caffeine, calories and so on.

  Coffein depends on how way too many factors to have a general rule of thumb for it. From the sort of the original cherry, how the coffee is precessed and roasted, to how you brew your favorite drink. I would hold my breath for this feature, to be totally honest.

  Seit bald 6 Jahren wird darum Gebeten diese Funktion hinzuzufügen die es in anderen Apps bereits gibt, aber leider wurde immer noch nicht reagiert, es ist wichtig bei solchen Apps auch auf gesunde Ernährung hinzuweisen alleine Fett und Zucker ist zuwenig

  Really surprised caffeine isn’t part of the nutritional values yet.
  
  I don’t need anything fancy just a rough estimate of caffeine intake when tracking an espresso or red bull.
  
  I would be happy just having the statistics in apple health under caffeine.
